    Detailed Test Results

Requires instructions for wireless set up, but once connected easy to take a basic temperature and set safe meat presets. Can also set your own temperature alarm, but not as intuitive as safe meat presets. PROS: Display screen is large and easy to read with automatic backlight. Intuitive control panel except if programming a custom temperature alert. CONS: To use, you have to turn on transmitter and receiver even if you don't need wireless alert (e.g. staying within proximity to oven/grill). Transmitter takes temperature but does not display it (only receiver displays temperature).
