Gifts for the Traveler
Taschen Great Escapes Mediterranean: The Hotel Book
Treat the traveler on your list with a book that’s sure to inspire future getaways. This one from Taschen explores dreamy destinations and hidden gems along the Mediterranean with vivid photos and wanderlust-inducing text.
While this volume will typically go on sale for 50 percent off on Amazon, this is the best deal you can get on it right now across a variety of retailers.
Cavallini & Co. National Parks Vintage Puzzle
Here’s a gift perfect for the outdoor enthusiast: This 1,000-piece puzzle depicts various scenes from iconic national parks across the U.S. To take things to the next level, pair it with a plush throw and a mug.
Chi Handheld Garment Steamer
The Chi handheld garment steamer is a traveler’s best accessory. Roughly the size of a flat iron, it offers 8 minutes of steaming with a manual button on the handle. It was the fastest steamer to heat up in our at-home tests, ready to go after a mere 40 seconds. The compact device is compatible with tap water, which takes the stress out of having to track down distilled water when on the go.

Gifts for the Entertainer
East Fork Everyday Bowl, Set of 4
Holiday entertaining is made better with beautiful dishes and serving ware. East Fork pottery has been a favorite of mine for years—I love their artistic approach to the everyday. This versatile bowl, available in 12 inspired colorways, is a staple of my dining table, whether I’m using it as a soup bowl or as a vessel primed for entertaining.
CB2 Marta Cooler Glasses, Set of 6
CB2’s Marta glass collection is a relatively well-kept secret I’m more than happy to share. The Cooler glasses were among the first items I purchased for my new apartment—followed by the shorter tasting glasses, which I use on a daily basis. They’ve also made it to the homes of many of my friends. The glasses are ultra-thin and stackable (a major plus for those with limited cabinet space), and I’ve found them to be surprisingly durable.
On sale, you can grab each glass for $2.50, which is quite the steal.
Atelier Saucier Candy Crush Linen Cocktail Napkins, Set of 4
I received a set of olive-embroidered cocktail napkins from Atelier Saucier as a housewarming gift, and they’re by far one of my most prized possessions. Made from reclaimed denim, the hand-embroidered pieces spark joy each time I pull them out for a party or an everyday occasion.
While the exact set I own is currently out of stock, this colorful version, with its sweet trimming, is just as charming. These napkins are also available in vibrant colors and patterns.
LEGO Wildflower Bouquet
Skip the store-bought flowers and go for something nontraditional. This build-it-yourself wildflower bouquet fits the bill. Lego’s botanical collection is something out of a dream. Potted orchids, cherry blossoms, and roses are just a few of the creative options you’ll find, but we’re partial to this wildflower set, which is equal parts whimsical and artful. Once it’s complete, go ahead and display it in a vase. Why not?
Gifts for Health and Beauty Enthusiasts
Easy-Take Skincare Fridge
The Easy-Take Skincare Fridge is the only skincare fridge we evaluated that has an LED mirror on the front door that has three brightness levels, which comes in handy if you’re trying to save space on your vanity. The fridge has one removable shelf, but the height can’t be adjusted. The door closes securely with a magnetic closure, but its capacity is smaller than that of other models we tried, and it was unable to fit a 13.5-fluid-ounce bottle of Micellar water.
Papillon Shiatsu Neck and Back Massager Pillow With Heat
Here’s to the gift of ultimate R&R. The Papillon Shiatsu Neck and Back Massager Pillow checks a lot of the boxes for being the perfect massager. It’s effective and lightweight. In fact, it’s the lightest of all the electric massagers we tried, according to our measurements. It’s also fairly inexpensive. You can use the massager on different body parts, such as your back, neck, shoulders, legs, and feet. It also offers a good amount of heat.
The JBL Tune 510BT is already a budget-friendly option that delivers sound quality in the ballpark of far more expensive headphones, and it has a 40-hour advertised battery life. It sits on the ears, which some people find more comfortable than being engulfed by bigger, over-the-ear style cans. As an extra perk, you can use the headphones with a cable if you forget to charge them. These aren’t noise-canceling headphones, but for the price, they’re hard to beat.
Gifts for the Coffee Lover
Instant Milk Frother
Give the coffee lover a whole new reason to love their morning java routine. When you think of the brand Instant Pot, its line of multi-cookers usually comes to mind, but the company has branched out into coffee makers and frothers. Its Instant Milk Frother was one of the best models in our at-home review, offering performance almost on a par with the Nespresso Aeroccino4 milk frother, which costs more than twice as much. The only downside is that the Instant Milk Frother isn’t dishwasher-safe because its controls are built into the side of the carafe. Cleaning is still a breeze, though. You just need to hand-wash it with a wet cloth.
Summer means cold brew on the daily, and this Primula Burke cold brew coffee maker is up to the task. It’s the most inexpensive cold-brew coffee maker in our ratings—and one of the best. Notably, it received the top score in our test for convenience. This model comes with a glass carafe, and most of its parts are dishwasher-safe. It’s the only model that calls for a full 24-hour brew time, but you might find the results worth the wait.
Ember Mug 2
There are many ways to keep a brew warm, and the Ember Mug 2 is a pricey—albeit convenient—way to do so. With a heating element at the bottom of the mug, it keeps beverages at temperatures from 120° F to 145° F. Sensors in the mug detect when there’s liquid inside, record the temperature of the liquid, and maintain it. It offers 90 minutes of battery time, but by keeping the mug on the charger that doubles as a coaster, you can keep your coffee warm for as long as you keep the coaster connected to power.
