It’s day two of Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days, and the best sales on home products are holding steady—or getting marked down further. Below you’ll find the worth-it products that are still available, and we’ll keep updating this list throughout the day. In this year’s event, we’ve seen the usual suspects: a collection of highly rated air purifiers at a discount, along with sleep products and select yard and home improvement tools.

Air Conditioners
This AC’s price has dropped a bit even since yesterday. If you’re looking to cool a big room, this Frigidaire window air conditioner is a solid pick. It’s got conventional user controls, but employs inverter technology inside the unit to increase or decrease the power of the compressor, resulting in a unit that’s quieter, more energy efficient, and better at cooling a room and keeping it cool.
Air Purifiers
The portable Blue Pure 211i Max does a terrific job removing dust, pollen, and smoke on its higher setting, but expect a bit of noise. Try it on low, and you’ll have more quiet while still experiencing top-notch results. This model is designed for use in a large space of 350 to 650 square feet and costs about $109 a year to maintain. It also weighs just 17 pounds, making it easy to move around.
The kid sister to the 211i Max, Blueair’s 411i Max has a similar design, but for a smaller space—CR recommends a medium room or less. The portable air purifier delivers impressive results on its higher speed, and as with many air purifiers, it’s less effective on the lower speed. A true selling point is its relatively low annual operating cost and the fact that CR members are highly satisfied with their Blueairs. If you’re looking for an even cheaper option for a smaller room, the Pure 511 is another three-speed model that performs reasonably well in our tests.
The 50-pound Coway Airmega ProX excels at clearing rooms of dust, pollen, and smoke at both higher and lower speeds, and it does so pretty quietly. It’s worth noting that the ProX’s top-tier performance comes at a hefty price, including $247 annually for filters and electricity.
A portable purifier that keeps your air clean and matches your mid-century modern design aesthetic—yes, please. The HoMedics AP-C500 is a large-room air purifier with a budget-friendly price tag, even on a normal day. It’s an even better deal on sale. It performs impressively on both high and low speeds and it’s easy to use, but you should expect a fair amount of noise while it’s running.
The HoMedics AP-T200 has impressive performance and an attractive design, similar to the AP-C500. The major difference? This model is designed for medium rooms of 150-350 square feet, so it’s smaller in size and, fittingly, has a smaller price tag.
Getting half off a recommended air purifier is nothing to sneeze at. The Woozoo does a solid job at removing dust, pollen, and smoke at both high and low speeds. What’s more, it’s one of the more cost efficient large room air purifiers to operate and maintain. Just expect a bit of noise while it’s running. It’s currently on sale for the lowest price we’ve ever seen.
Blackout Curtains
In this case, an already low price is coming down by about 15 percent. But when it comes to getting more sleep, good blackout curtains can be a total game-changer. The Amazon Basics Room Darkening Blackout Curtains are among the best we evaluated for a number of reasons. Tested in both black and white, these machine-washable panels excelled in their ability to block light and did a good job of providing insulation.
Chainsaws
The CAT DG630 is one of the better battery chainsaws we’ve reviewed and it’s currently available for the best price we’ve ever seen. Until now the price has climbed north of $300 on occasion, and it’s rarely dipped below $280. At less than $225, this is a steal. Bonus: The battery can power other tools from CAT, including its top-rated leaf blower.
Cordless Drills and Impact Drivers
The Bosch Chameleon is a unique little cordless drill that has interchangeable heads for specific tasks, like drilling at a right angle or in a tight spot. The price is the lowest we’ve ever seen, more than $100 off the retail price. That’s likely because the Chameleon is being discontinued. But rest assured, you’ll still be able to get batteries in the future—it runs on the same 12-volt battery that powers other small tools from Bosch.
This 24-volt impact driver from Flex is already one of the single best values we’ve seen in a tool, even without a discount, so the fact that you can score it for $100 instead of the typical $170 is quite remarkable. It comes with two batteries and a carrying case, which is pretty unheard of in this price range.
Dehumidifiers
The sale price on this unit came down a bit today. The cube-shaped, medium-capacity Midea MAD35S1QWT is quiet, energy efficient, and convenient. It features a digital display, frost control, a built-in water pump, an auto-restart feature, and a timer. If you have a smaller room, try the MAD20S1QWT, which is even quieter and performs just about as well.
Humidifiers
The Levoit Dual 200S cool mist humidifier pumps out enough moisture to work well in a small room (up to 300 square feet). It’s also quiet, efficient, and able to handle hard water with aplomb.
Nearly half off, the Miko Myst is a solid choice for larger rooms and other spaces over 500 square feet. In our labs, this dual mist unit did a solid job with output and handling hard water, plus we found it to be quiet, efficient, and easy to use. The timer, remote control and automatic shutoff were nice extras, though it’s worth noting its power cord is pretty short.
The Husqvarna 350BT backpack leaf blower is a solid pick if you’ve got a big yard with lots of trees. This model is being discontinued, which might help explain why the price is so low.
Mattresses
If you’re looking for a soft mattress, the Casper Dream is a solid pick, providing pressure relief and comfort to those who need it. In our lab evaluation, we found the model—a newbie to CR’s ratings—to be a standout for petite back sleepers, and it serves all other sizes and positions very well. The Dream scores well for durability, too, so you can expect to get sound sleep on it for 8 to 10 years. If you sleep with a partner, you should feel very little vibration from their movement. CR members give Casper mattresses high marks for comfort and owner satisfaction.
This budget-friendly mattress provides impressive support for most sleepers. (It’s not ideal for large and tall side sleepers.) Firmness-wise, it’s on the softer side and earns solid ratings in our durability tests.
This hybrid mattress is a great value, offering terrific support for petite and average back and side sleepers of all sizes. It lets you change sleep positions without transmitting movement throughout the bed. The only sleepers it’s not ideal for are those who exceed 6-foot-2 in height, 220 pounds in weight, and primarily slumber on their sides.
A decent discount at about 20 percent off, this mattress-in-a-box has very few weak spots. The innersprings topped with foam deliver very good support to all types and sizes of sleepers, from petites to large and tall. The durability is top-notch, with little in the way of sagging, softening, or damage in eight years of simulated use.
Mattress Toppers
A solid value pick, this 3-inch topper from BedStory offers a luxe feel, thanks, in part, to its removable quilted cover. Lab tests found that its two-layer gel-infused-foam design registers warmer, and an evaluator noted that it offers a resilient surface with a medium- to medium-soft feel. Highlights include an inner encasement as well as a machine-washable cover that zips down halfway.
The dual-layer Casper Comfy adds a layer of softer foam to a firmer foam base. At only 20 pounds, the mattress topper is fairly easy to move around and the machine-washable zip-off cover (made of polyester, cotton, rayon, and spandex) makes it a cinch to clean. But the topper can’t be flipped.
More than one-third off it’s normal price, Tempur-Pedic’s 3-inch memory foam cushion allows you to add Tempur’s unique, slow-sink design to any mattress. There’s a much firmer initial feel that slowly softens to a medium and contours to the body over the course of 30 seconds. Our lab test found that the topper doesn’t trap a lot of heat. The Tempur Supreme comes with a removable polyester cover and can be flipped over after removing and replacing its cover.
ViscoSoft’s gel-infused memory foam topper is reasonably plush but still has a medium- to medium-firm feel. And, while a gel-infused design often equates to a cooler feeling, this topper scores on the warmer side for heat retention. Noteworthy features include corner straps to help keep it in place and a removable machine-washable rayon cover. The topper can also be flipped and rotated, though it weighs 27 pounds so you might need a helper.
Pillows
A long-standing top-rated pillow, the Coop Home Goods Premium Adjustable Loft Pillow is made of shredded memory foam and excels in our tests for support, no matter your size or sleep position. The Coop also keeps its shape well, showing little to no change in height or fluffiness in our resilience tests. Each pillow comes with extra foam, so you can adjust the filling to your liking. The only area where this pillow falls a bit short is in breathability—it sleeps slightly warm.
The Beckham Luxury Linens Hotel Collection Pillow has a 100-percent-cotton cover and a 100-percent-polyester gel-fiber filling. The pillow aced our test for breathability, so it should help keep you from feeling hot; it also scored top marks for resiliency, so it should maintain its shape over time.
Made of two layers of gel memory foam, Tempur-Pedic’s Tempur-Cloud Breeze Dual Cooling Pillow is top-notch for side-sleeper support but only middling for back-sleeper support. In our resilience test, this pillow successfully maintained its shape. Despite having “breeze” in its name, the pillow doesn’t allow for much airflow, so you may get sweaty sleeping on it. Only the cover is machine-washable.
Robotic Lawn Mowers
Husqvarna Automower 415X
The runner-up in our robot lawn mower evaluations, the Husqvarna Automower was slow to mow, but left behind impressive results. The grass in the plot was evenly cut, even though the robot drove through it in a random, disorganized pattern. Through a connected app, you can view a satellite image of your yard with the mower’s path clearly depicted in the image and adjust the blades’ cutting height.
Sheets
There’s a reason Brooklinen is an internet sensation. Our tests find that its Luxe Core sheets have an excellent fit on mattress depths of 14 inches or less. And when it comes to shrinkage, consumers can rest assured that they won’t experience much of it. What’s even better, Luxe Core sheets are the softest cotton sheets in our ratings, according to our sensory test, and at a cost of under $200, they fall in the middle of the pack for pricing. When you’re making the bed, these sheets take out the guesswork. There are labels along each side that read “short side” and “long side” so that you’re never confused.
Brushed microfiber isn’t as breathable as cotton, but if you’re ok with that, this Mellanni sheet set is a top-notch pick. It offers a softer feel than most cotton options and is pretty resistant to wrinkling. The one area where it slightly misses the mark is in our fit test. Though the packaging claims “deep pockets,” the set is best suited for mattresses with a depth of 10 inches or less.
Showerheads
This showerhead from Hopopro is a best-seller on Amazon for a reason: It delivers steady pressure while using just 1.3 gallons of water per minute. It comes in five finishes and has five spray settings that are easy to adjust.
Solar Outdoor Lights
The Lerekam Solar Spot Lights are among the priciest outdoor spotlights we’ve reviewed, but our tests found they offered tremendous performance. They can be angled, installed with ground spikes (included), or screwed to other surfaces. They have an on/off button and can be recharged with a USB cable (also included). Each of the lights in the six-pack has 40 LEDs, resulting in intense white light that shines wide over an area, not unlike a flashlight.
It’s hard to contend with the value offered by the Gigalumi Grid Solar Pathway Lights. Their cost is lower (on a per-light basis) than just about any other path light we’ve seen. There’s a single setting, an on/off button, and a removable battery, but the lights can’t be charged or angled.
This is the lowest price we’ve seen since testing these lights. The JSOT Outdoor Solar Deck Lights, are stellar deck lights that emit a medium-bright light. Each fixture contains 3 LEDs. While the lights can’t be charged with a cable, they have an on/off switch, so you can turn them off to build up power if you’re concerned about their charge.
String Trimmers
Amazon’s sale price has come down a bit since yesterday. The Husqvarna 320iL is a top-of-the-line battery string trimmer from a brand that’s best known for its premium gas-powered tools. This tool boasts solid performance and a battery that can power lawn mowers, leaf blowers, or chainsaws on Husqvarna’s 40-volt platform.
