This Ethan Allen innerspring mattress performed very good in our back-support tests, which analyze how well 36 points on the torso are supported, and performed good in our side-support tests, which look at the alignment of the spine. In the durability test, which analyzes the mattress's change in firmness, sag, and damage over a period of up to 8 years of simulated use, this mattress performed very good, showing only minor changes in performance. Its surface conformed to most shapes and its breathability was very good. This mattress proved to be stable, limiting the amount of vibration transmitted. We measured the mattress's firmness to be firm.
