    Like many people, you may drink less plain water than you did when you were younger.

    There are a lot of possible reasons for this: Your sense of thirst may diminish with age, for example.

    Still, hydration is crucial for good health, and there are plenty of ways to improve the taste of your drinking water. Here, CR’s experts, including Joan Muratore, who leads CR’s water filter testing, and Amy Keating, registered dietitian and nutritionist with CR, share their advice for making water easier to sip.
