Design and features:This Bluetooth wireless noise canceling portable ear-insert model provides good sound and excellent active noise reduction. Its ear plug-like design and electronic noise canceling feature reduce both outside noise and sound leaking out into your environment. The headphones work with or without the noise canceling feature being turned on. You can use the noise-canceling feature without listening to music. The Aero Wireless Earbuds has a volume control plus an integrated microphone and player function controls. Additional features include - Either earpiece can be used alone for one ear monitoring of Bluetooth streamed audio and telephone communications but will only monitor one channel (left earphone monitors left channel only, right earphone monitors right channel only). Charging/carrying case has built-in rechargeable battery that the manufacturer claims can be used to recharge the earphone batteries for an additional 15 hrs. of playtime for a total of 20 hrs. with ANC on, or for an additional 21 hrs. of playtime for a total of 28 hrs. with ANC off. Can be recharged via USB cable or optional wireless charging devices. Manufacturer claims water resistance (IPX5). Has five different listening modes that can be selected using the 1More Music app. Touch controls on either earphone operates noise cancellation feature; the default settings can be customized using the app to switch between the different noise cancelling and the ambient sound monitoring options. Has touch controls, defaults are music player play/pause, communications call connect/disconnect, and noise cancelling/ambient sound monitoring control. Automatically pauses audio when one earphone is taken out of ear and resumes when both are put back. Supports compatible digital voice assistants when used with Bluetooth connected devices that have those features. Has fast charge feature: 15 min of charging will provide 3 hr. of playtime. Earbuds have spatial audio with head-tracking technology, the earbuds track the user's head movement to maintain the center of the sound. Bluetooth connected Apple mobile devices using iOS Version 5 and above will show the battery level. Free 1More Music app download for Apple and Android devices can be used to disable the auto pause feature, customize the headphone touch control functions (play/pause and/or voice control can be swapped for next track, previous track, volume up, and volume down functions), select 12 preset EQ profiles and a custom EQ, check battery levels, update firmware, and run a built-in headphone burn in audio file. Sound quality:We found the Aero Wireless Earbuds delivers sound quality that falls in the good range - it reproduces music and voice reasonably well despite the obvious shortcomings in its sound and excellent active noise reduction. With the noise cancelling mode engaged and the 1More app noise cancelling listening mode set to strong (maximum) and the EQ set to Studio (default) (as received state of the headphone) the bass (as in bass drums, bass guitars, stand-up bass, etc.) has good impact and goes deep, but is a bit prominent and boomy and slightly distorted (slight warble - sounds like it is underwater) with some program material. The midrange is fairly even, but is hazy, somewhat soft, and a bit grainy and congested (think sonic traffic jam). The treble (cymbals, the upper range of violins, etc.) is extended, but the lower and mid treble is a bit subdued and smeared and the upper treble is somewhat subdued. While the sound has a decent sense of liveliness, it is closed (sound-wise it's obvious you have something plugging your ears) and does a decent job of recovering room ambience. Warm character. The overall sound can be summarized as soft, hazy, and a bit bassy. The 1More app tonal presets and EQ adjustments have a noticeable effect on the sound. Noise Canceling: Excellent noise reduction across the entire frequency range with the low frequencies reduced the most. Orientation changes the noise reduction characteristic - when the noise is coming from the front a bit more high-frequency noise can be heard relative to when it's coming from the side or rear. A faint rushing sound can be heard in quiet environments when there is no audio program to drown it out.
Comfort and Fit:This is a hybrid ear insert/ear bud design - the earpieces seal the ear canals but they don't insert into the ear canals as far as typical ear insert models, and they are supported by ear bowls like a ear bud model rather than the ear canals.
Small
Users with small ear bowls might find that the earphone body feels a bit bulky in their ear bowl, but that they will stay in place during casual use and are stable during vigorous head movement.
Medium/Large
Users with medium and large sized ear bowls will probably find that this model stays in place with no problems for casual use and that they are fairly stable during vigorous head movement.
Hitting the stem that hangs out of the ear can knock an earphone lose and cause it to fall out of the ear.
