This phone can work during household AC power loss, using stored power from the handset's battery to operate. It has excellent voice quality when talking and very good listening. We found this phone's ease of use to be very Good. It has very good message quality and very good answerer ease of use. It also has an adequate 19-minute message recording time and can conference handset to handset, like an intercom. This phone can pair cell phones and wireless headsets via Bluetooth, and also transfer your address book via Bluetooth.Its range is longer than most.

Phone features include side volume control, a lighted keypad, which is essential if using the phone in a dark room, talking caller ID, auto talk (allowing you to answer a call by simply lifting the phone out of the base), any-key answer and voice-mail indicator. APP Alerts for android cell phone users, your phone will alert you when your cell phones receives the following alerts, google calendar, emails, text messages, facebook,twitter, instagram and low battery. For iPhone and BlackBerry users, you only get text message (SMS) alerts. To save energy and extend battery life, the phone automatically reduces radio power when its base is nearby.It also has chain dialing (helpful if you frequently use calling cards), multilingual menus, and is conferencing capable with an outside line. It's Energy Star compliant.Additionally, the answerer has an audible new message alert and can record the answerer greeting using handset.

On the downside, Bluetooth headset capability is limited because Bluetooth headsets typically have about a 30 foot range from the base.the answerer setup is overly complicated and it is easy to accidentally erase unplayed messages.
