This phone has excellent voice quality when talking and Very good when listening. We found this phone's ease of use to be Good. It has good message quality and very good answerer ease of use. It also has a generous 22-minute message recording time and can conference handset to handset, like an intercom. Its range is longer than most.
Phone features include a lighted keypad, which is essential if using the phone in a dark room, auto talk (allowing you to answer a call by simply lifting the phone out of the base) and a voice-mail indicator. To save energy and extend battery life, the phone automatically reduces radio power when its base is nearby. It also has chain dialing (helpful if you frequently use calling cards), multilingual menus and is conferencing capable with an outside line. Additionally, the answerer has an audible new message alert and can record answerer greeting using handset.
On the downside, phone and answerer setup are overly complicated and it lacks any-key answer. The answerer message had noticeable background noise and it is easy to accidentally erase unplayed messages.
