To create our list of the roomiest, most comfortable EVs, our experts measured interior space, checked how many suitcases and duffel bags could fit in the back, calculated cargo room, and repeatedly had testers of all shapes and sizes get into and out of the front and rear seats. We do this as part of our weekslong, in-depth evaluation of all the vehicles we buy, including the top-selling EVs on the market.
Below is a list of the most comfortable and spacious electric vehicles, in order of their roominess and comfort score. Each vehicle’s Overall Score factors in road-test performance, owner satisfaction, predicted reliability, and safety. Be aware that Overall Scores change over time as new information, such as reliability data, becomes available. The model pages always reflect our latest ratings.
All key active safety features, including automatic emergency braking (AEB) with pedestrian detection, AEB that operates at highway speeds, blind spot warning (BSW), and rear cross traffic warning (RCTW), are standard unless otherwise indicated.
