Talking Cars 464: Live From CR’s Auto Test Center

The podcast panel focuses on the state of electric vehicles, sharing test insights and fielding viewer questions

This special "Talking Cars" podcast serves as a "recap" of our first-ever live episode of a show focused on the state of electric vehicles in 2025.

We welcomed live viewers and listeners who shared questions for real-time engagement with the panel. As you might imagine, there was plenty to talk about.

Conversation focused on whether or not the EV products on the market were ahead of the infrastructure and repair network needed to support them and how that affected consumers’ decision on whether or not to purchase an EV. Other key topics included new EV models that are on the horizon, EV incentives, EV tire wear, and are hybrids and plug-in hybrids the bridge to EV adoption in the U.S. Finally, the panel and audience weigh in on how battery technology, replacement, sourcing, and reliability will influence the EV market and the environment now and in the future.

Join us in re-viewing the inaugural "Talking Cars" Live.
