The Evenflo Shyft Intuiti + is part of the Stroller test program at Consumer Reports. In our lab tests, strollers are rated on multiple criteria, listed below.

Ease of Use is based on trained testers’ judgments of the ease of folding and unfolding, using and adjusting the safety harness, adjusting the backrest, lifting and carrying, engaging wheel brakes and installing and removing a car seat, where applicable.
Maneuverabilityis assessed by trained testers, taking into account how well each stroller, with a weight bag “passenger”, maneuvers on our indoor course: in S-turns through cones, in narrow sections, on a simulated walking trail with rough and uneven surfaces, uphill, downhill, through a doorway, and up and down curbs.
Safety tests are patterned after those in the federal stroller safety standard for strollers and carriages. These include assessments of harness configuration, passive containment, static load, structural integrity, and others. We also put strollers through Stability and Braking and other tests designed by CR.
