The Eufy RoboVac G30 Edge used a grid pattern to ace most of CR's tests. It is not as strong as other models in sucking up embedded flour, but its cleaning ability is still impressive. It claims to have 9 infrared sensors to make it constantly aware of its surroundings and overall, it covered the majority of the test floors, with an exceptional Navigation score. Test hair was stuck in both wheels and the brushroll and was not easy for testers to remove. The vac cleaned sand from bare floors easily and was impressive at edge cleaning. It minimally scattered debris. The vac crossed over electrical cords but ran into trouble with slack in the cords. In those cases, it needed to turn around and retry to finally cross over the cords. It was able to easily climb over a .5 inch threshold. It was able to navigate over the black carpet in the lab. Features: Cleaning Modes: Standard, Turbo, Max suction. Auto, spot modes. Adapts to changing surfaces. Amazon Alexa or the Google Assistant compatible. Voice prompts inform the user of the robot's status and help guide through issues.
