Eufy RoboVac 11S Max

Like its sister models, the 11S Max seemed to clean in a random pattern even though it claims to use different modes to optimize cleaning. This vac may not be as efficient as some of the other models in that its movements do not seem as calculated, but its multiple passes on our floors accounts for its excellent navigation score. We noticed that its dual side brushes scattered debris but the vac usually picked it up after another pass. With a very slim profile height of under 3 inches, it was low enough to get under our test furniture with room to spare. Like most Eufy vacs in the ratings, this vac is so quiet we could barely tell it was working. The large track type wheels with suspension easily climbed over our thresholds and various surfaces. It avoided our stairs. It bumped into its docking station a few times and moved it slightly during testing. The vacuum seemed pretty powerful picking up pet hair in one pass. A lot of hair was wound tightly around the spiral combo brush/rubber blade which was not easy to clean and required scissors. The long, dual side brushes are very effective at cleaning edges, although once they scattered debris to the edges, they had a hard time removing it. The robot was able to maneuver over power cords and avoided getting trapped in rug fringe. It easily climbed over. 5 inch threshold. The bin is at an awkward angle so when you remove it sometime it spills out. This model has a slightly more powerful battery than the 11S but this model was not as successful at picking up embedded dirt as the side brushes scattered the debris. Features: auto, quick, edge, spot and manual cleaning cycles. Suction: standard and max. Boost IQ - automatically switches between standard and max suction settings depending on floor type. This model is not connected. Battery: Li-ion (14.4V, 40W, 2600mAh). Includes: Two extra side brushes, one extra filter, a cleaning brush for the brushroll, remote, docking station and wire ties to organize cords. It has a 1 year limited warranty.
