Jen Shecter is a seasoned strategist and journalist with more than 20 years experience communicating complex consumer issues. As Vice President of Content, Jen oversees the development and execution of content across channels and platforms and leads the team of writers, editors, designers, video and social media producers who cover the consumer issues and trends that are core to the organization’s work.
Prior to joining CR, Jen worked at The Washington Monthly and Chronicle of Higher Education in Washington DC and served as a researcher at the Center for Responsive Politics where she researched the relationship between campaign contributions and federal legislation.
Jen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Vassar College. She hails from Montreal, Canada.
