Sound quality: Klipsch's The Three Plus had acceptable overall sound quality - this model reproduces music and dialog reasonably well despite the obvious shortcomings in its sound. Bass has good impact and goes deep but is a bit prominent and tubby. Midrange is fairly even but is a bit grainy and somewhat hazy and slightly "boxy" - plasticky. Treble is fairly extended but is somewhat smeared and a bit sizzly and somewhat subdued. Does a so-so job of recovering room ambience. The overall sound is somewhat hazy and congested, and the slightly echoey quality of the tubby bass adds a touch more spaciousness than exists in the original program material. It provides a decent volume level in a large sized room.
Ease of use: This model was neither exceptional nor subpar in its ease of use; it was acceptable overall.
