Sound quality: KEF's LSX II LT had very good overall sound quality - although it has some noticeable sonic quirks, this model reproduces music and dialog very well. Bass has good impact and goes deep but is a bit prominent and somewhat boomy. Midrange fairly even but is somewhat hazy, a bit grainy and a touch soft and echoey. Treble is fairly extended but is a touch subdued and a bit smeared. Does a decent job of recovering room ambience and is a bit congested. This model comes as a stereo pair, and its sound stage width and focus depends on how well it is placed. When it is well placed, there is good stereo separation and the sound field extends somewhat above and to the sides of the speakers but doesn't have depth. Provides a decent volume level in a large sized room.
Ease of use: The ease of use of this model was acceptable overall.
