Overall this model was very easy to use, somewhat accurate for counting steps, and very good at measuring heart-rate accuracy. With recent version iPhones, our experts found it very easy to pair, very easy to interact with, and likewise for recent version Android phones, very easy to pair, and very easy to interact with. It is very easy to attach to the body and very easy to recharge the battery. In our water immersion test it passed the manufacturer's claim of 164 feet for 10 minutes.

It has connected GPS, the display has a backlight for use at night, and the manufacturer claims a battery life of 10 days. It is available in small and large sizes, is available in colors black, Lunar White, Desert Rose and has quick release straps. It has the following sensors: optical heart-rate and a 3-axis accelerometer. It has notifications for calls, texts, and calendar events. It includes inactivity alerts which remind you to move if you are sitting for a long time. If you have an Android phone, you can preload simple replies to notifications directly from your watch. Has AmarTrack auto exercise recognition which can be set to 10-90 minutes. Fitbit offers a paid subscription to Fitbit Premium which offers extra personalized workouts and more insights, comes with free 1-year Premium trial for new Premium users complete with personalized insights, guided programs, advanced sleep tools, health metrics, Menstrual health tracking, Heart-rate zones, Cardio Fitness Score, and Swim tracking.
