Performance: Overall this desktop's performance was good, below that of many other models but still powerful enough for tasks such as email, word processing, web browsing, and streaming movies. Compared to other tested desktops, it was fast for common tasks such as web browsing and video conferencing. Applications start up quickly. Performance was okay but on the slow side when composing documents, working on data spreadsheets, and running other productivity tasks, and it was among the fastest for manipulating filters on multiple images, converting and editing videos, and rendering 3D models and calculating simulations. In addition, demanding video games will show smooth graphics and have a quick response.
Ergonomics: The desktop is bundled with a keyboard and mouse. Keyboard letters were low contrast and difficult to read, but its keys were comfortably sized. Keyboard features such as media playback and volume control keys add convenience. The corded mouse has a scroll wheel. The storage drive can be easily replaced. The power button is in a convenient location that is unlikely to be pressed accidentally. Testers thought the keyboard lacked good feedback while typing.
