"Surging during acceleration began around 50K miles. Changed transmission fluid and reset the computer. Dealer claims it was due to towing (which I do irregularly, not often). The condition has begun to return again at around 72K miles. I think Honda needs to issue a recall."

"Damaged transmission shift relay"

"It was not wanting to start out from a stop without clunking into gear and when driving it was shuddering and lurching. They drained and flushed the transmission and charged me almost $300 but soon it started doing it again. The next time I went in they added some type of additive to the transmission to get it to stop. It worked for a while but now when I go on the highway I get a signal that the transmission is overheating and I have to stop at the next exit and wait for about a half hour before I can drive it again."

"Started in September 2023 and occurred when driving an extended trip. When the rpm was around 1500 rpm the transmission/ motor would surge between 1300-1800 rpm. Took it into dealer and they had to update software and change out fluid. Was a problem that other owners had exhibited."

"When fueling the vehicle, if I fill the tank completely, gasoline will freely flow down the passenger side in front of the rear wheels. I have contacted my local dealer and explained the concern to the service manager. He didnt even return my call. Honda currently has a recall for my vehicle which I am told the fuel pump Will / can cause this concern. The vehicle gas mileage has decreased from 21 mpg down to 18 mpg. Honda says that they hope to have parts available for this recall later in 2024. I realize manufacturing a very large number of vehicles every year brings inherent concerns, but Hondas response is quite poor in my opinion. I can say with confidence that this will be the last Honda that I will ever own."
