Transmission Minor
Gear selector and linkage, transmission computer, transmission sensor or solenoid, clutch adjustment, rough shifting, slipping transmission, leaks.
We expect the 2025 Yukon will be less reliable than the average new car. This prediction is based on data from 2022, 2023 and 2024 models, and the GMC brand score.
The Reliability score is based on our latest subscriber survey of 2021 GMC Yukon owners. The owner comments describe problems respondents experienced with this vehicle.
Gear selector and linkage, transmission computer, transmission sensor or solenoid, clutch adjustment, rough shifting, slipping transmission, leaks.
Engine rebuild or replacement, cylinder head, head gasket, turbocharger or supercharger, timing chain or belt.
"DOD Active Fuel Management - Once the vehicle reaches any speed where the engine activates the DOD feature the engine RPMs settle at about 1100. If more power is needed to for instance climb a grade in the road or slight hill there is a vibration that can be felt in the drivers seat and the steering wheel at about 1150 RPMs until the DOD activates. I have had it back to the dealership 2 times - they "can't feel any vibration""
