What Owners Say
"At just over 131k miles, we noticed a minor leak showing drops on our driveway and set up an appointment with the service department for later that week. Within 36 hours, the van was shaking during accelerating and braking, accompanied by a high-pitched whining/revving sound. Later that day it gave out in the middle of the highway and stopped accelerating, giving just enough time to find a place to pull over. The mechanics informed us it was a transmission pump failure, access to which requires them to remove and replace the entire transmission. The cost for a fix was triple the actual value of the car, and could potentially happen again because of the lack of reliability of the Dodge transmissions. Since it was out of our control and we were told it could happen again, we could not justify the fix and were not able to sell it without a working transmission."

"The transmission started catching with hesitation. Took it in for service and told transmission would have to be replaced was not repairable. Talked with other repair shop about what was happening and 2 other shops recommended replacement also. Was unable to drive till was replaced. Very disappointed because had less than 97000 miles on van."
