You have to take the keys out of your pocket and hold it near the door and when you enter the car hold the emblem of the key near the start button. I have changed the batteries and replaced the key. Its a glitch."
Anonymous, NY (2023 Acura MDX A-Spec 3.5-L V6)"Random electrical issue with wiring shorting out caused the check engine soon light, shut down all electrical output like radio, AC, driving mode and warning lights said get to a dealer as soon as possible the all wheel drive and braking systems are not working properly. I was shocked the dealer would not submit the claim to Acura for warranty and they have had this happen often, a known issue. The dealer said it was an EPA regulation that changed the coating on the wire. The Acura MDX Type S Advanced that we purchased was about 75k, we paid sticker but was given a 1000.00 discount to take deliver in Dec. 2022."

"At a stop light the whole electrical system shut down. Everything turned off and we couldn't turn on the emergency light to warn others. Then at a stop light to take the car into the dealership, the car shifted gears on its own. Scary stuff."
