On June 5, 2025, Midea recalled their U-shaped air conditioners due to risk of mold exposure. The recall involves dozens of models of air conditioners sold under the Midea, Comfort Aire, Danby, Frigidaire, Insignia, Keystone, LBG Products, Mr. Cool, Perfect Aire and Sea Breeze brand names.
